What does it mean to be a member of the
Panther Club?

It means you are one of the truly special corporations or individuals who ensure the growth and success of Florida Tech Athletics. With no state funding, the FloridaTech athletic program is self-supporting, we rely on the extraordinary support of our Panther Club members to help our student-athletes excel. It is the PantherClub mission to help provide the resources necessary for our student-athletes tocompete at the highest athletic level.

The 2010-11 season boasted a wealth of accomplishments, and Panther Club members have reason to be especially proud. The women’s soccer team earned its first trip to the NCAA Division II Final Four. The men’s rowing team competed in the prestigious Henley Royal Regatta in England.

Florida Tech’s student-athletes earned individual recognition along the way. The Panthers received 10 all-America awards, 22 all-region accolades and 29 were honored on either the all-conference or all-freshman teams. One student-athlete was selected South Region Player of the Year and another was the Sunshine State Conference’s Sportsmanship Award winner.

The Panthers continued to excel academically as 110 student-athletes from all 17 of the 2010-11 active varsity sports were listed on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for earning a cumulative 3.2 GPA or higher.
